I decided I had better get another Dreamcast before it becomes "retro" and prices shoot up on consoles. I got a unit with no cords for $30. Which I find odd because at the same store they were selling an Atari 2600 for $60. Powered it up and works fine, and plays my homebrew games. It looks tremendously better than my old yellow one I bought a few years ago that was used, which will now live in the garage until this one I just got breaks. I figured it's always good to have a spare console when you can find one. And I didn't get to sleep until after 11pm since a whole bunch of morons were shooting off very loud fireworks. I found out that the golf course near me had its annual fireworks show last night, so I hope that it will be less tonight, but wouldn't be surprised if it's the same. The dog we've been babysitting finally went home back to my sister's family. The dog seemed happy to see them. Now we just have one dog. Who's afraid of fireworks. But there were people doing it when it was light outside. Why bother when you can't see them? Oh well.
