Here I was, I had completed a crossword. It has the word rigider in it. See, Word doesn't recognize it as a word. Neither does dictionary.com, nor my Scrabble dictionary. I was angry. In a last ditch effort to decide whether "rigider" was a word or not, I googled it. Up came the wiki dictionary. It had rigider in it. Just like I thought it should be a word, a comparative form of "rigid." So I'm keeping the word in the crossword (it's like people actually do them.) I think it should be a word. My 7th grade English teacher said use more or most if the word after it is one syllable, and "-est" or "-er" if the word is three or more. Two you can use either one. So why isn't rigider in more dictionaries? It should be a word. It could come up in conversation. Like, "Hey, that ruler is rigider than the other one." The fireplace people and the furnace people came today. I don't know why mom left the fireplace on when it's 80 degrees today, but I don't know how to turn it off. It's now really hot in here.
