Thanksgiving question.

Ever since my grandparents died, me and mom haven't done anything special for the holiday. My sister and her boyfriend go to his folks' place then, and we're stuck here doing absoluetly nothing. I told my sister when she was out shopping a few days ago to get me "a turkey TV dinner." She comes back with the most fattening one: A Hungry Man dinner. Figures. I look on the back of the box: It has 1,300 mg of sodium. So my question is: Why?

I'm not going to eat the "dessert" in the thing, nor the vegetables. All that's left is 4 slices of turkey, some stuffing and something else that I forgot what it is. I was hoping she'd be sane and come back with a Banquet one. So my question is still Why? Why do people decide to get really obese? Why do food companies have to pour insane amounts of salt into everything? It's like the food industry is promoting obesity, and people are buying into it. Yet when I go out in public, I hardly see any fat people. And I have a big huge belly. Something is wrong here. And it needs to stop. They're killing us with kindness.

I guess I'll start having to fix my own turkey if I want any. But it's just for one person (mom is a vegan). I can't eat a whole turkey by myself. Next year I'm asking for a better, healthier TV dinner. Geez.
