Is that VCS thing still alive? I don't have "sufficient interest" to do the research myself.

I believe right now the VCS is a bit like Schrödinger's cat. As long as the box is closed, we don't know if it is dead or alive. But supposedly we should get some kind of life sign in the next 5 days.
