I need a pixel artist to help me

In order for one to have a good game, one must have good graphics. It's okay if you're, for example, makng a puzzle game, but I'm not. So the graphics have to be reasonably good. I am working on Frank the Fruit Fly for the Pokemon Mini again. I decided to put a frog sprite in the game and have Frank avoid it and its tongue. But the problem is, I can't draw frogs. At all. Frogs and horses. And, in fact, almost everything else for that matter. So I need a pixel artist.

If you want to help, here are the specifics. I have one frog body sprite and one frog tongue sprite. I combined the two sprites to make an image of a frog. Each Pokemon Mini sprite has a maximum of 16x16 pixels. And it can only be one color. There are probably ways to make it appear to be more than one color, but darned if I can do it. And then I'd need it flipped as well so it's facing the other way.

So my stupid looking frog picture is below.

Told you it was a crappy looking frog.

Not so bad IMHO. You'll probably catch the attention of a good pixel graphician if you post the request somewhere in the forum, unless you already haven't.

For the moment being, if you don't like your own design you probably could borrow some frog graphics from another game if you find some. I seem to recall that e.g. Camelot Warriors had frogs though those sprites probably are larger than 16x16 pixels and not sure if they had tongues.

frog

doublewide

thought i'd take a crack at it even though i'm not a pixel artist. Since I'm not a pixel artist I wasn't sure if the pixels needed to be doublewide or not but tried to keep it in the 16x16 limit. Fun!
