Pea-Man's identity crisis
I have been lucky so far. I haven't yet slipped and called Pea-Man by another, more famous name. So I figure in order to keep the streak going, I should change Pea-Man's name.
I couldn't think up of anything better. So I decided on Pea-ter. It's a pun on the name Peter.
Also, I want to call the game "Peater the Pea," not "Hi! I'm Peater the Pea!" I worked a lot on cleaning up and tidying up what I have so it looks really great and not having artifacts and random junk left on the screen for a few milliseconds. I figured out how to have the wall be colors 8-16. For color 8, I remembered that if I used #color=$1000, I could get color 8 that way. I thought I tried that and it failed, but it decided to work this time. Level 6 has a bunch of robots in it.
That's because Peater got beamed up aboard the carrots' spaceship. They're taking him to the planet Carrot. In case you didn't know, peas and carrots have been enemies since the very beginning of time. The carrots got tired of not being in video games, so they decided to take all their pent up anger out on poor Peater the Pea.
The double death bug came back, but I managed to get rid of it again. I still don't know why it happens. I think it has something to do with the wait command. By the way, Peater the Pea is for the Intellivision. And I hope to finish it next year, which is why its copyright date is 2020. But seeing as how I started the game less than a week ago and right now have a game with 6 levels and counting, I think I'll be finished with it before the year is over. Releasing it, on the other hand, might come in 2020, that is, if anyone WANTS to...
