2600y night
An attempt to be awake all day and asleep all night instead turned into me being asleep all day and awake all night. Oh well. I made some changes to the game I mentioned yesterday. Only the burger is able to shoot a French fry. I tried to make the onion ring shoot lasers but it didn't go so well, so I had to give up on the onion ring shooting. So I made the French fry the same color as the onion ring no matter where it is on the screen because I'm using missile 1 as player 0's missile.
The onion ring was the glob in yesterday's entry. With a bit more work, I could make its speed go up or slow down. But hey, it's able to at least move left at a "randomly" chosen y position. Once I get the main "engine" done, I will work on getting different backgrounds in. Next I will attempt to make the onion ring shootable. That will happen tomorrow because I just spent two hours here attempting and failing to make the onion ring shoot.
I was correct though in my assumption that I didn't have very much room left to make the onion ring be able to shoot. I had to mess around with the code in being able to fit it in, adding WSYNCs and changing the mountain code a little to do that. The problem I had with the onion ring shooting is that it kept on going after it went to the extreme left side, reappearing on the right, even though I told it not to. But with the burger being able to shoot, it can technically be a game.
