Microsoft Edge good for something!
All Microsoft Edge is good for is to download Firefox or some other different web browser? Not true. Let me tell you a story.
So I went and decided to print out some more blank comic strips for some comics I do. I print them out, fill them in, scan them, color them in, and put them on my comics site. Well, my printer was having an episode. It wasn't printing anything. So I checked the ink levels. They seemed ok. Then I turned off the printer and turned it back on again. Still nothing was being printed. It acted like it was printing, but nothing was showing up on the page.
Frustrated, I decided to change the ink cartridges. I had to do both color and black (that's a different, even longer story.) So I go to Firefox to view my .pdf of six blank squares I made. It said a new update of Firefox was available. So I had no choice but to update it since the notice was covering up the print button. So I did. And went back to printing my page. The result: It shrunk the squares down and added text about when it was printed and filename. Which I swear was not there before. I tried again. I got the same result. Something about that update must have done that.
Frustrated again, I went and decided to try Microsoft's web browser: Microsoft Edge. I printed it using that. And lo and behold, it printed nothing but 6 empty boxes, just like I wanted, the right size and everything. But now I have a new problem: I need more ink cartridges. I'm wondering if I should just stop using that old printer and get a new one. It'd have to scan too, since I use the scanner.
