Thanks for the compliment - and the criticism.

 

This one does have a structure of sorts - see a few posts back where I typed it out - but it is a little abstract and probably works better in my head than it works in reality.

 

With some polishing and some other changes I'm hopeful that it will have some kind of arc to it.

The tune sounds good to me. Though I think the percussion is too loud and seems to drown out some of the tune. But I'm no music expert.

It was Zach's idea; he wanted, um...his wording was something like, "I want groups of four notes to play a prominent theme in the melody" - or something like that.

Thanks for the feedback; that is pretty helpful. Most of the polishing will be tweaking the volume of everything, percussion included.
