Wario Land 2

Hey, I went to Game Crazy and I bought Wario Land 2. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind buying before I was going, but since it was the original and not the GBC version, I couldn't pass it up. I owned the Game Boy Color version once, and I got tired of it, so I traded it in. And now, since I'm collecting DMG games, I don't plan on trading them anytime soon like I am with the NES games I have. I'm getting so desperate for any new Atari 2600 game that I've turned to the Marketplace, where I've gotten a few leads, but nothing set in stone quite yet. I think I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a copy of Grand Prix, though, since I'm going to give someone a copy of a DKC3 instruction booklet. I tried to find a ROM so I could see what it was like, but I couldn't find any Activision ROMs on AtariAge, but there's some on other sites. Turns out I love Grand Prix. A question though: Why doesn't AtariAge have Activision ROMs when other sites do?

AtariAge is somewhat responsible for Activision Anthology? I wondered how all those homebrew games got on there. But still, AtariAge wasn't selling the ROMs. I know people would probably not buy the game if the ROMs were available for download, but they're on every other site for free, too.

Activision asked that the ROMs be removed, AtariAge complied with the request. Other websites may have different rules and thoughts on copyright, but AA tries to respect the wishes of the copyright owners. (There are other examples, like the Ebivision carts.)
