I go around stomping on dragons. I reached this with post 500 a few minutes ago, and I have absolutely no idea what game the term is from, if any. At the rate I'm going, I'll probably reach around 1,000 posts by Christmas. And my home baseball team, the minor-league Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, have just clinched the NWL West division, and with 10 games left in the season, it looks very possible that they will end up with the best record in all of the 8-team NWL and win the playoffs! It's so good having a team to root for that is actually good, after how bad the Portland Blazers have been doing. And the little league team from Georgia completely destroyed the team from Beaverton, Oregon; beating them 7-3. Now I hope Japan can beat Georgia. From what I've read, baseball is very big in Japan, just like anime is very popular here, so it looks possible. And I don't even like baseball all that much, but it's the only sport that leagues play in the summer, so it's either that or soccer.

Dragonstomper was a game released for the Starpath Supercharger, an accessory for the Atari 2600. It was a role playing game that you loaded from a tape cassette into the super charger. The first stage consisted of wilderness, where you wander around killing monsters and improving your stats, artifacts and cash reserves. Stage 2 had to be loaded from the cassette and consisted of the town, essentially shopping for all the equipment you'd take with you into the dungeon. Stage 3 was also loaded from the cassette and consisted of the journey through the dragons cave until you fought the dragon itself.

It's a cool game. Looking forward to playing it again myself.
