My Top 10 Favorite 2600 Games - 9/06
I submitted a list to the Top 100 Atari Games of All Time thread, but then, I started getting in new games, and I want to add a couple of them to this list. So then, I thought, why not just change my Top 10 list every month? So here's this one, the first month:
#1 - Grand Prix
#2 - Freeway
#3 - Frogger
(Yes, imitation beats original!)
#4 - Asteroids
#5 - Video Pinball
#6 - Street Racer
#7 - RealSports Football
#8 - Ms. Pac-Man
#9 - Defender
#10 - Super Breakout
So there you have it, my picks for the top 10 in the month of September 2006. BTW, all these games, and every game in every top 10 list to come will be played on an actual Atari 2600 console and not on an emulator. I now have around 55 games, so that's about 1/5 of my whole collection right there. I just received Grand Prix and Frogger in the mail recently. Games I expect to get soon are Bowling, Barnstorming, and Kool-Aid Man. Will they appear on next month's list? Time will tell...
