Well, it finally stopped bleeding and the Vicadin (I think that's what it's called) they gave me helped a lot. It still hurts to swalow, but now it's a dull pain. Of course I have to eat nothing but soft foods for the next week, and Ensure is kinda disgusting, even though it tastes like chocolate. Yesterday I had some mashed potatoes and today I need to start rinsing my mouth with salt water every couple hours and take the pills until they're gone. Geez what a hassle.

Yeah, but it's a one time thing. Once they're gone & your're back to normal you don't have to do anything more except offer sympathy to others going through the same thing.
