Got a couple more long songs for my long songs on record collection. "Foreigner Suite" by Cat Stevens (or should I say Yusuf Islam?) runs for a good 18 minutes and Uriah Heep's "Salisbury" clocks in at 16 minutes and 22 seconds. Man, though, some records are way out of my price range, like every single Pink Floyd album ever made. A re-issue of Dark Side of the Moon costs $12! I saw Atom Heart Mother for over $30 (I bought it on CD for half that.) And Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced? 35 bucks! Geez Louise! Both my records I bought are in good shape and play well. Expect a new December top 10 list on or around December 2. By then, I should have a slew of new 2600 games to play with (all got off the Internet).

You might want to exclude prog rock. Long songs are the norm rather than the exception. Jethro Tull thick as a brick, for instance, or a lot of Yes stuff.

So stuff like Alice's Restaurant, Disco Inferno, Madonna's "Up Down Suite", songs that aren't long just for the sake of being long? I read Wikipedia's entry of prog-rock, and there's no mention of the Alan Parsons Project (Turn of a Friendly Card, Fall of the House of Usher). Albums with long songs are hard to come by where I live. (there's only a handful of stores in my city that sell records, and it took me a while to even find Alice's Restuarant.)
