...that is, my next generation. I let my 6-year-old niece play Atari for the first time. She got pretty good at Grand Prix. Then later, me and my sister played Pong on Video Olympics. She wanted to see how fast the ball went, so we positioned the paddles so it kept hitting the ball back and forth without us moving the paddle controllers. I think she was a little disappointed that it didn't go faster. My sister, niece and grandpa have just left and all in all, it was a good Thanksgiving dinner (and we had ham, not turkey.)

Hmm, have you tried holding down the fire button on the paddles? I know from the games of Pong that I played with a local friend of mine that the ball WILL go faster in the VO version when using the button as you hit the ball.
