Finally, things are working in the Cubs favor. They get a stretch where they play 7 games in a row against 2 of the worst teams in the league at Wrigley Field. Todd Walker is back in the lineup, that will deepen the bench. Dempster has converted 4 straight saves as closer, this is stabilizing the bullpen, and the starting pitching has been absolutely outstanding these past 3 weeks. With some steady wins they can hopefully secure 2nd place in the division by the all-star break. Catching the Cards will be very very hard, and will probably only happen if the Cubs get totally healthy, and the Cards have some major injuries(not that I wish that). Hopefully some wins this week will get them in a more positive mood. I know I could use some wins...this shit affects me! I get so mad at Latroy Hawkins and Dusty Bakers dumb as rocks decisions!!Go Cubs!!! Win it for Harry!

Wow...right after I posted this the Cubs lost...and now they've just lost a game to the Rockies....The frickin Rockies!!

Dusty Baker must be trying to get fired...he pulls some of the stupidest shit I've ever seen in this game. Bottom of the 7th, 2 on, 2 out...and its the Cubs pitchers turn at bat....now most reasonable managers would pinch-hit in this situation, given the fact that the Cubs were DOWN by 2 runs at this point...but Dusty leaves him in to bat for himself!!! WTF????

I'm bout to call Jim Hendry and tell him that I can do Dusty's job and fail all the same for a hell of a lot less money than Jonny B Baker gets paid. This team is a joke this year...the Brewers are ahead of the Cubs in the standings....thats a bad sign. One things for sure...don't get your hopes up over a Cubs team.
