Funny how the internet works
A long time ago, back when I was just getting started with MIDI making, I jokingly did a little MIDI of Level 1 world map of SMB3 with the Sesame Street theme mixed in because someone jokingly asked me to. I got a reply saying it was cool, and then forgot all about it. After that, I unsubscribed to the Vgmusic.com forums where I posted it. Fast-forward a few years later, and today I get an e-mail about someone who found it on themushroomkingdom.net, where the people on there made fun of it. (that's what he said, anyway, I'm not going to download an entire podcast with a 56k modem. At least he liked it.) As well they should, because I just made that MIDI on a lark and didn't expect it to be circulating around the web like that. I bet if I put more time into it, I could make it sound really good, but the computer that i had the original MIDI file on died so I couldn't. Oh well, funny how stuff like that happens. So if you happen to have listened to it, I'm the one that made it, and now you know the rest of the story.
