There was a man from the Czech republic named Dmitry, and a man from Slovakia (the Slovak republic) named Alexey.

They were winning chess tournaments for their countries, and were the best of their entire populace.

However, since Alexey (the Slovakian) was ahead by a mere 2 points in the tournamnet (due to a horrible blunder in match 9 by Dmitry against another Czechen), the final head-to-head match was slated to be held in Slovakia.

All was going well, until suddenly, Dmitry found himself in Czech.
