393
That's the number of comic books I've made (mostly for myself and my mom) so far. It's called "Bill & George" and it's kind of like my diary in comic book form. I recently found issue 1 (made in October of 1994, right before my 12th birthday), and I had been missing it for a little while. It was like I had found issue 1 of Action Comics or something. Where was it? Right between issues 80 and 81. I have a huge stack of all Bill & Georges I've made so far. It's really tall, and I'm surprised it hasn't fallen over yet. Probably due to my "wonderful" ability of stacking papers. The idea for #393 was kind of stolen from the Ren & Stimpy episode "Jiminy Lummox", in which George has a conscience who inflicts pain on him whenever he does something wrong. (After 393 issues, it's kind of hard to think of ideas all by yourself. I wonder how The Simpsons do it.) I'd scan the cover of issue 1, but my scanner doesn't like pencil scans and it didn't come out. Last year I started drawing with pens just for the purpose so I could scan stuff come years from now. Well, issue 400 is going to happen later this year, and I'm surprised I've kept it up for this long.
