White Christmas? Here?
All the buzz weather wise in the Portland area is the possibility of snow on Christmas. Some stations say Christmas night, while others like the Weather Channel say Christmas morning. If it snows on Christmas morning, I won't be able to get any of my presents because they're all at my sister's house and Mom absolutely refuses to drive in the snow. But if it snows on Christmas night, that'll give me something to do while the Blazer game is at halftime. The last time it snowed on Christmas here is when I was a year old. Or at least that's what my dad remembers. I wonder why you can't remember anything about when you were a baby. You'd think you'd be able to, wouldn't you? Oh well. The Blazers playing on Christmas Day is kind of a rare thing, too (though not as rare as snow). They'll try to keep their 10-game winning streak alive against the poor Seattle Sonics. I went to Best Buy near the mall to get a Frank Zappa CD (Imaginary Diseases). But getting out of the mall parking lot was a nightmare. It literally took at least 16 minutes. (I was listening to a song on the CD that was 16 minutes long. It was over and we were near exiting.) I blame it due to the stupid parking lot design. Whoever designed that parking lot needs a few snownballs to the head. ![]()
