Hey Manuel, we have similar tastes in music, so I look forward to checking it out when I'm caught up with work. (Or rather when I'm caught up enough.)

I have pretty mixed tastes and often like some rather weird oddball music, but I also seem to have that strange weakness for really good pop music

Speaking of amazing, I am amazed that the record industry was so upset over p2p networks, and yet you can find just about any song on YouTube nowadays.

I think the difference is that those p2p things give you 128KB MP3s along with high resolution scans of the cover and the booklet, while Youtube is more like "Make your own MTV" in just acceptable quality. It does a wonderful promotional job, I think a few acts would've never gotten so big the last 1-2 years without Youtube, like Sandi Thom or Mika for example. In fact it was really Youtube (and also myspace) that motivated me buying CDs again, after the industry drove me out of this "hobby" with their experiments regarding copy protection several years ago
