I was one of the unbelievers, thinking that this thing everyone kept talking about didn't exist. Well, I was at the store and I saw two of them left. And I got one of them. So some other lucky guy or girl will luck out like I did and get one. I didn't get anything for it yet, but it came with Wii Sports. And I tried bowling, but no matter what I did, the ball always seemed to curve left. I tried holding the wiimote at different angles, "hitting" the sensor bars at different places, but it always seemed to go left. I had it set on right handedness, too. Lucky for me, if I stand at the extreme right of the lane and swing the ball, I can get it to go down straight (i.e. curves to the left and hits the center pin.) I think I need to get used to it some more. I don't think I'll play any other Wii Sports until I get used to bowling. My best score so far is around 110. And, I don't have to wear those stupid shoes!

You should give Baseball and Tennis a whirl for sure. I think boxing and golf are a little more advanced (if such a thing can be said), and are better enjoyed when you have a better grasp of the Wiimote.

No rush for new games, spend a week or two with Wii Sports, then move on.

I still love Wii Sports and still play it all the time.

Once you get proficient, try the fitness challenges. They are a great way to enjoy the game in its fullest.

Enjoy your Wii. It is THE modern system in my esteemed opinion.

I basically played Tennis on it, up until it considered me good enough for the pro level. The others didn't hold my interest for long.
