Well, he's out of the hospital and in a rehab place, but the rehab place is so horrible, mom thinks he'd be better off at home, so she's working hard to get him out of there. As for when he gets out, there are two possibilities: #1 - We move over to his house (and bring along our cat and dog) and stay with him alongside a caretaker; or #2 - We sell his house and try to find him a NICE nursing home for him. I am vehemently against #1 because he has a cat and I have a cat, and I don't like the idea of our 15-year-old cat living in a garage all day and night. Also, the dog would mess up his house and would make it unsellable if we decide to move to idea #2. So, it's not a very pleasant situation I'm in, as you could imagine.
