Seeing how after the next big holiday to celebrate after the 4th of July is Halloween (really, how can you celebrate Labor Day?) I'm going through my old tapes and making a Halloween specials DVD. Right now I'm recording onto DVD "A Disney Channel Halloween" that was taped circa 1985. This is after I put "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "Boo to You, Winnie the Pooh!" on it. I plan to dig up "The Great Bear Scare" starring Tom Smothers and put that on, too. I'm not going to do Garfield's Halloween Adventure, though, since I have the offical DVD release of it. I have it on an old tape, though, the same one with the Disney Halloween special. I also have a tape circa 1996 of a bunch of syndicated Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors specials back-to-back (KPDX must have had a week of THoHs at 7:30.) Since I have all of those on the Seasons 2-8 DVDs, I'm not putting them on (that, and the syndicated ones cut out a few gags for length, anyway.) During my digging, I did find an ad for the Cabbage Patch Kids doll that chewed kids' hair up. lol. I love Halloween, and I celebrate it practically year-round. Yay Halloween!
