Dressed to the 90's
Two years ago at this time, there was a heat wave here (I've been doing this blog for over 2 years now?! Where does the time go?) Well, anyway, for those of you who don't want to read me complain, it was 103 two years ago today (For those of you outside the United States, about 40 degrees Centigrade.) Now, the weather is expected to heat up again just about on the same days. They're forecasting 91 tomorrow and 98 on Saturday. Last time we hit 98 was... May 16 of this year when it was 99. Ugh! I can't stand it! The heat *and* the almost but not quite hitting 100 degrees. For goodness sake, it's 99, can't it just get one friggin' degree hotter? Well, if I'm not asleep, I'll track the hour-by-hour temperature using the Weather Channel as a guide. I don't know when this started, but it's become a little of a tradition to do this whenever it hits around 100. I don't know why I do it, either, but it's a little fun and interesting to see how the temperature climbs during the day. The end.
