A Lynx Game Came
The mail came early today, at the 11:00 hour. In there was a package for me. Inside was a copy of Blue Lightning for the Lynx. It was a flat-style cartridge, my first one. So I put it in and turned it on. Works perfectly. Then, I turned it off to see how hard it would be to get out of my Lynx 2. It wasn't hard at all. So now I have 55 Lynx games, they're all on a bookcase lined up in neat rows of 11. I'll have to start a 6th row once NFL Football comes, though.
I only have one other non-curved lip-style Lynx cart and that is a ridged Gates of Zendocon. And every local channel still says it might snow this weekend. Yesterday's record low was -12 Fahrenheit back in 1972. I asked my mom if she remembered it and she didn't. She does remember though, when it snowed on Christmas Day when I was a year old. The last time it snowed on Christmas was last year, and it didn't accumulate. I really hope I get at least an inch, that would be cool. I bet I have a better chance now that I live a couple-hundred feet higher up in elevation than I used to. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
