Recently, I've been fortunate enough to hear the word "snow" in weather forecasts, coupled with the other phrase I like to hear, "possibly down to the valley floor." The key word in that phrase is "possibly." Since the only forecast for Salem is the Weather Channel and the newspaper (the newspaper only gives out 2 days ahead and is usually wrong anyway), I am still unsure if I'm going to get anything. Everything else is for Portland (like ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX/My) I am still hopeful though, that it will be cold enough to snow on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Last time I heard anything positive, it was Sunday night/Monday morning, but again, that was for Portland and not neccesarily Salem. Wish I lived in Eugene, then I could have a whole bunch of local channels that actually talked about news in MY TOWN. Or better yet, KWVT could start a local newscast with detailed weather information. Now THAT would be cool. But until I actually SEE snow, I guess I'll just be waiting...
