Does anyone have any of this guy's music? If so, what's it like? I've been reading the Long Song List again and I came upon this guy. I googled him and Wikipedia says in the 70s, one of his compositions actually had to be sped up a little to fit on one side of a record! "A Treatise on Cosmic Fire" ended up being 'reduced' to 35:19, and a warning on the label back then says that the recording quality had diminished a little because of vinyl technology. Wikipedia says that the CD is fine, and along with his other things he wrote by himself or with part of the band Utopia I'm interested in. So I think I'll take the bus downtown tomorrow (which i haven't done since i moved, and it will take much longer) and see if i can find any of his songs (on CD, of course). The guy really pushed the limits of vinyl, and it's going to be interesting to find out with what.
