Last night, I thought "If I stayed up until about 11AM, I could go on the bus downtown, wander around for half-an-hour, then go home and go to sleep." Well, that didn't happen. I fell asleep at about 7AM and didn't wake up until about 3PM. I'll try again tomorrow because I really want some more long songs for my collection. I'm having a terrible time trying to find "Curtain Call" on the Black Album by the Damned. Is it even on CD? Also, apparently neither is Don Juan's Reckless Daughter by Joni Mitchell. I've got all the popular ones, so now I'm really having to stretch for less popular ones, like Joanna Newsom and Meshuggah. I'm going to try to go to another record shop in town on Saturday. I say "try to" because I last tried the day after Thanksgiving and it wasn't open. There it was, the busiest shopping day of the whole year and the place sat empty and closed. I think it opens at noon on Saturdays if memory serves.
