"TV Week" crosswords

I have a problem with the crosswords found in TV Week, the Statesman Journal's weekly TV listing booklet. The problem is, after looking through my collection that starts on July 2, 2006, they only use 7 designs of a 12x12 graph. There is a close-up picture of a celebrity's face in the middle of the graph, along with some squares in the crossword designated with an asterisk. You are supposed to unscramble the asterisk squares to come up with the name of that celebrity. That I don't have a problem with (although it hurts what I want to do with it.) I tried to make a crossword that doesn't have any of those 7 designs (because I want something new). Here is the result. (To actually do this crossword, save it to your computer, open up MS Paint or whatever, and print it out. Be sure to select Landscape-style printing.) What do you think? (The answer to this crossword will be in the next blog entry.) I'll continue to make some of this style instead of the willy-nilly ones I have made in the past.
