So my wife wanted a Wii, and we found one on sale over at the AAFES PX where I work. No Tax!

Yeh I always knew that when it came to my 7th gen game system it would be a Wii. But wasn't sure when I would get it. A really fun system.

So they have the ability to make little yous called "Mii's" or a "Mii". You have the basic, and I do mean BASIC character editor to give a little body a big head with the usual eyes, nose, hair, typical human colors for skin (no green or blue for example). I really think when they made the Wii that they were trying to have people be down to Earth, social community, and have the Mii be a realistic representation of the user.

But now making a Mii with the limited character creator has become an art form. So I figured the Bubster needed to enter the Mii world. So I started originally after trying my hand it with this Mii...

Which was not a bad version for the Japanese Bubsy. But then I tried a few differences and got this...

On the Wii they have the "Show Mii Off" channel where you can make and share Mii characters, and enter contests to make themed characters. Pretty fun. Bubsy is now there in the Mii world roaming around now.

Today I took another direction with the Bubsy Mii.

My wife made the comment that it was a shame the glasses (which were the ears) could not point a little higher. That was when I decided to use the eyebrows for the ears, and then use the Garfield glasses trick to give it the area around the mouth. I think the result was better.

So then I made my own Mii look like Bubsy so that I could have him in the Wii Fit games.

This one was great. Bubsy jumping up and cheering, just like he did the early 2D games.
