Ladytron and The Faint
Great concert though the opening act Crocodiles didn't leave much of an impression for my buddy Keith and I. Sadly, Keith's fiance got sick and wasn't able to go with us. She'd really been looking forward to the concert.
Ladytron and The Faint are co-headlining. Apparently they're alternating and The Faint played after the opening act in Houston. I'd not heard of The Faint before finding out about this concert. I really enjoyed a number of their songs,
I thought the chandeliers looked neat with the colored spotlights shining on them. The candles glowed with the light, though it was a lot more vibrant in person than these iPhone photos show.
For Ladytron we moved up closer to the stage while they were changing out the instruments and background lights. I'd say we ended up 25-30 feet from the stage. I really enjoyed their performance and was worn out by the end. However, the crowd seemed to be a lot more energetic when The Faint were playing. Based on group t-shirts I saw, I suspect the crowd was more familiar with The Faint than Ladytron.
