Well, I finally did it. Ever since I had Tetris for the NES, I had never gotten above level 19 (199 lines). Well, today it happened. I finally got 200 lines in A Mode. 200 lines even. The blocks were going down so fast, and since I got to that mark, i had no reason to keep trying to play. At first I didn't think I was going to make it. I was stuck on 199 lines for like 30 seconds (which is long considering how fast the blocks are falling, plus I was up to like 2/3rds of the screen at that point), but finally, I did it. I got out my digital camera, and since the Name Entry screen doesn't show how many lines you got, it only shows the level # you ended on (LAME!), I took a picture of my achievement of getting to "level 20." I'll upload the picture later in case you're interested (or don't believe me), but right now I'm trying to get something on YouTube, and I'm having an intermittent Internet connection so i have to keep trying over and over again . Just wanted to share my achievement with all of you since i'm really proud of it.
