Here's a game I've been working on for the 2009 Minigame Compo. It's called "i." The other vowels have invaded i land and you are the bravest lowercase i in the land. Use your dot to defeat your foes. Fire it like a missile, first press fire, then the direction you want your dot to head, then depress fire. How many vowels can you shoot in 99 seconds? Unfortunately, since this is a 2k game, there is no room for sound, i have about 30 bytes left, and that's not going to be enough space even to put 1 sound effect in. After working on this non-stop for about 6 hours (!), I'm at a stopping point. The hardest part so far was getting the shooting controls the way I wanted them to be. Maybe I'll work some more on this tomorrow.

Your game doesn't use scrolling so you can gain 192 bytes if you don't include the "pf_scrolling.asm" module, make a backup of your "default.inc" file and delete "pf_scrolling.asm" in the file.

Thanks for telling me about that, I didn't know. I'll keep this info in mind when I work on my projects and I need more space.
