I disagree as well. The 80s is where it's at, though I also like music from the 70s and 60s.

 

For me 90s was the boring music decade. Wasn't until the 00s that I once again found interesting new groups such as Placebo, The Presets, Dangerous Muse, Ladytron, Shiny Toy Guns, Freezepop, Chromeo and most recently The Faint.

I don't think I care much about years or decades, I like music as old as a Hank Williams song up to the most recent one from Lady Gaga

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I have every Beck CD album (except the bootleg ones), and I must say that Mutations is my favorite one. As for '80s music I like, the only thing that comes to mind is the Eurythmics (Sweet Dreams), and barely into the 80s (1980) is Funkytown by Lipps, Inc. And how could you not like Yes, (especially Tales From Topographic Oceans)? I like the Atari 2600 music from the '80s, too.
