It did go up a few degrees yesterday, it got to 103. Today it got up all the way to 107. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 104. I am very very very very very happy i have air conditioning, but I've discovered something: the dog won't pee outside like he's supposed to when it's this hot. I've recorded the Weather Channel's Local on the 8s segment showing a temperature of 107, so I have this momentous occasion on DVD. The previous record for today was 99, so we shattered the record high for today. I think the all-time record high for any day here in Salem was either 110 or 112, so it got very close to that, too. For those outside the US, 107 Fahrenheit is 42 Centigrade.
