Crossing the Threshold
First off, some of you may have been wondering why there was an attachment in yesterday's blog. I didn't think it would actually show up because an attachment list didn't show up like there was for non-blog posts. I was just testing it, and it works, but apparently with a little quirk.I just ordered Threshold today for the 2600. I was like "Ooh, a game I don't have at about the same price as London Blitz!" and then I looked it up and found out it was a Tigervision game. I love their colored carts. Judging from the screenshots in the guide, it looks like an Astrosmash clone. Also, it's an R6, so that's even better. I don't know why Tigervision made colored carts, but I like them, and I think there's a special novelty value of possessing an orange 2600 cart. At least I think it's orange, the cart in the guide was. So, I'll have 290 carts and just ten more until I reach 300. I get all excited when I spy a chance at getting a cart I don't have for my collection, which is rare these days because I have almost 300. The question now is "Where do I put Zaxxon?" I have my games alphabetically arranged on the bookshelf. The bookshelf is now full. I'll need to find another spot for the carts near the end of the alphabet. But for the most part, collecting 2600 games is fun.
