Have any of you ever dreaded working in a small group with people you don't know? I have for a long time. One of my courses is called "Interpersonal and Small Group Communication". Naturally, I dread the idea of working with strangers. However, I'm will to learn to somehow co-exist with the folks I've been asked to work with. It's not always easy though. I have a project due next week that involved giving a 30 minute presentation on Chapter 4 of the book we are reading. So far, I've read the first 4 chapters and wrote down some vocabulary for Chapt 4. I'm hoping things go well tomorrow because I'm not used to working in groups. I worry that the course will be a burden instead of something positive. I've tried working in small groups before and it was a waste of time in my opinion. I don't wish to repeat this experience.
