Hi there!

Just look here, how the final rounds will happen according to my calculations:

Tough, tough tournament!

Our guys will eliminate Argentina and Brasil along the road, before destroying England in the penalties! This is going to be the best WC ever! :D

Greetings,

Manuel

What's the WC? (Couldn't resist getting the U.S. perspective in there. :D )

England won't even win their group? ;)

What is Elfenbeinküste?

That's Ivory Coast in English. It's located in west Africa on the southern border, between Liberia and Ghana, south of Burkina Faso ;)

The BBC news site is running a poll of 50 experts from 20 countries to find out who they think will be the top 4. England are expected to finish 4th, Argentina 3rd ... the other two haven't been revealed yet.

So what's your prediction for the Germany / Netherlands final on July 11?

You were right that Germany beat England, but it didn't take penalties.

It'll be very interesting the next two days to see if this game is really happening. With England, Argentina, Spain and possibly the Netherlands on the way, our team sure has one of the hardest imaginable roads to the worldcup - which is a good thing IMO actually

Spain will be tough of course. Their top five players are more valuable on the transfer market than our whole team combined and they beat Germany only two years ago in the European final. Also Müller is missing the game and his most likely replacements (Kroos/Marin/Trochowski) didn't play much so far.

On the pro side is it fascinating to watch how our players function as a team. Against Argentina we saw our main striker (Klose) defending the goal, just like we saw our main defender (Friedrich) scoring on the other side - this level of dedication and passion for the team is incredible.

It seems they're riding on a wave right now, so after Argentina I think they can do anything - I say they'll win the next two games clearly :o

I had almost everything else wrong though, so I definitely shouldn't start betting real money :o
