Since I got the bongos, maybe you've been wondering how I like them or not. The answer is I do like them, especially since I'm playing it on the right TV. The DVD player which I hooked it up to in the living room had a slight pause between the action and the actual on-screen goingson, which made a timing game such as Donkey Konga go all off-kilter and I hated it. So, then I went to play it on the VCR hooked up to the TV in my room, and suddenly I got a lot better at the game. I also got Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, and I just beat level 1 in a little over 8 minutes. The boss fight for level 1 was easy even though I had no idea what I was doing, I just kept on banging on the bongos every second or so and I was winning. So, I'm definitely going to play Donkey Konga again, it's a lot more fun when the bongos do what you want them to. I want Donkey Konga 2 now. I also want a modded Gamecube so I can play Donkey Konga 3 (Japan only, which is so unfair. The Gamecube was around in 2006, but I guess Nintendo's focus on North America was Wii this and Wii that.
