My favorite rock decade is the '90s. Maybe because it was the decade where I was in my teenage years, or maybe it was because there were so many great bands: Beck, Presidents, Primus, Nine Inch Nails. Right now I'm really into Smashing Pumpkins. I got the Today single from my sister a long time ago. I'm really digging Kitty Kat and Obscured (the other songs on the Today single.) I also borrowed Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness so I could burn 1979. Now I want Earphoria. I'm intrigued by a song title: "Why Am I So Tired?". I am also intrigued that the song is 15 minutes long. So tomorrow, I'm going to start looking for that album. Too bad that they broke up. I heard that Billy Corgan had a new band, but I'd like to get into his history with Smashing Pumpkins before I go delving into that. Also, Trent Reznor, the lead man of Nine Inch Nails, has a new band too called How To Destroy Angels. I am really looking forward to their new LP, which is coming out "Summer" (whatever that means.) I really like CDs because I don't have a credit card to use on iTunes and other stuff. Am I the only one who doesn't have an iPod and doesn't get music via the internet?
