YouTube is going crazy again.

I just uploaded a clip onto YouTube. When I went to see it, it started playing it, even though I didn't tell it to. It just did automatically. And of course, it makes it count as a view. Now, I only did this about two or three times. This raises questions. 1.) Why did it all of a sudden start doing this? and 2.) How do I make it STOP? I don't want it to do this. I just want to periodically check on views of some YouTube clips while listening to music on Windows Media Player and I don't want to be interrupted by its noises.

If it's doing this on your own YouTube page, there are settings you can change so videos don't play automatically on your profile.

 

Likewise, if it's on someone else's profile, they probably have their settings set to autoplay when someone looks at their page.

 

If it's just some random video you did a search for, I have no idea. Must just be the way it works now.

 

One thing that particularly annoys me these days is after watching a video from someone you subscribe to, it will automatically go to the next newest video in your subscription afterward, even if it's someone else completely different. Pretty annoying if I'm trying to leave a comment after the video ends. :lol:
