I've been pretty concerned about how I'm going to get back into socializing with others. I find myself longing to have a group of close knit friends to hang with and do things with. However, I don't think it's easy to find such a thing anymore. I used to have such a group of folks to hang with. We'd go bowling and to clubs and stuff like that. It was nice but eventually, everyone moved on and did their own little things. It really sucks but I'm confident that I can find such a thing again. Not worried about having a girlfriend as things are still not where I want them to be, to a point where I would consider dating again. Getting there though.It can't be that hard to meet new friends though. I'm just awkward and stubborn. I prefer to keep in touch with people I went to school with, as they are usually easier to relate to. However, sometimes their lives change to the point where they do not acknowledge me. I already touched upon this in another entry but I hope the point becomes clearer on this.Nothing to do but try I guess.

I seem to have the same problem with the socializing stuff.But it always seems to take a bit to 'warm up' to people.I tend to study them,see what their personality is like around others and decide if I want to be social with them.Honestly,if I dont have much in common with a person,I dont see much of a point to be buddies,outside of being polite and a friendly 'hello'.Oh,and not to be outdone,I too have been on a diet :) If anything,Im curious how I would look 'thin'!!Keep your chin up and Ill keep my chins up as well (HA,a little girth humor! :D :D )
