OK, so I have a way better ASM code, which makes something appear on the screen. But there is a problem: I don't like what's on the screen. It's just a bunch of garbage. If I tweak any of this code, the garbage goes away and I get a gray screen. ASM is too hard for me I think because I don't know why what is happening is happening. I put an image through bmp2nes and it doesn't really want to show up, just its colors do. If someone would be kind enough to go through my code and explain what is happening and why I get the result I do, I would greatly appreciate it.
