When you read the newspaper you learn things. Apparently, the city is shopping around for a new cable provider. Unfortunately, the cable provider they were looking at was taken over by Comcast. We currently have...Comcast. So, methinks Comcast cares more about Portland than they do Salem. Apparently they just think of Salem as another neighborhood of Portland, even though we're 50 miles away. Salem has asked Comcast to sign another 180-day extension, so they're not going to go away just yet. Whatever they do, I hope we choose Charter when the debacle is all over. Charter in Dallas and other small cities carries KWVT. So I hope whatever provider we have puts KWVT. Also, this might mean we'll have a new channel line-up and will have to rememorize new channel numbers. Man, I wish I didn't have to hook up the indoor antenna to watch some (even more) local TV. Right now, sometimes I lose about a second or so of audio as it's hooked up now (stupid digital TV.)
