I was channel surfing on Comcast when I came across channel 308. It wasn't there before, so I figured it started on August 1. It's called "KGW 24/7" and it's local news from KGW, like it says, 24/7. It's also on digital channel 8.2, which means Estrella TV moved to 8.3. A guy I know from the internet who lives in Portland says they have been showing Estrella on 8.2 and 8.3 for a few months now, so now they're not wasting space any more. I taped a little over an hour's worth from what I figure is its third day on the air, which is cool because it mentions Estrella TV moving to 8.3. Basically what it does is repeats the local news casts until there's a new one, at least I figure that's what it does. I wonder what it does during the morning news from 5-7am. I guess I'll find out in 20 minutes. I doubt many of you care since you don't live in Portland Oregon, but it's a cool find for me.
