My day so far

Woke up at 11pm, played around with my Odyssey emulator, trying to think up of a new use for a game card. The Odyssey emulator (or ODYEMU for short) has all 12 cards, even the unreleased #11. I think I may have succeeded with a new use for game card #3, but I don't want to reveal it right now. I PMed Rev. Rob (OdBall) about programming for the Odyssey, and he said that you don't really program for it, unless you want to try to make a new game card. So one of his suggestions was to try to think up of a new idea from an existing game card (what he did with the unreleased #11.) I myself don't have an Odyssey, but I really really want one now. I think they're cool, and it would be really fun hooking up my Odyssey and then hooking up my Wii and see how things have changed a huge deal in the last 38 years or so. Did some research and found that the suggested value is around $100. Now, I don't think I'm going to spend that much over the internet, unless I get really desperate, but even still, I couldn't find one on eBay. Well, anyway, I went to the grocery store with mom, then took a nap while she left (from 10am-1pm) then we went to this garage sale, where mom found this interesting exercise equipment. So we went on our way, stopped at the local game store (nothing), Arby's (chicken sandwich) and Borders (MAD Magazine.) Mad said they're going to start making them every other month instead of quarterly. I saw a potential birthday present at Borders: a book called "Everything Scrabble," along with a few other books about Scrabble. I have the player's dictionary in paperback. Then we went home, got the exercise equipment (which had been sitting there marked as sold) and naturally I had to carry the stupid thing in the house and hurt my arm in the process. Luckilly, it was the left one 'cuz I'm right-handed. So anyway, that's my day so far.

I found a circuit diagram and I'll see if I can decode the cartridge pin out. Since the cartridge just connects the pins together, the number of behaviours is fixed. The games came more from how the onscreen display was interpreted using overlays and game rules.
