This sounds very promising! However, it only works properly on real hardware for me - for some reason it stutters terribly in stella and z26 (under linux)? Also, is this aimed for a particular minigame multicart?

On my Windows box(es) it runs fine in z26, though if does stutter occasionally. I had some wierd things happen in Stella, so I stopped using it for this binary.

 

It really isn't doing anything fancy; it just updates the sound registers, maximum, once per frame.

  Also, is this aimed for a particular minigame multicart?

Nice, I like the little echo on the lead line. Bass and drum parts are nice.
