I'VE BEEN PLAYING with 2600 music lately - I wrote a new music driver, which I'm pretty happy with (maybe more on that later); I've been trying to write something cool with it.Here's an unfinished 2nd effort; the imaginatively titled: Song B

songb.bin

It just loops through the final 8 measures forever, about a minute in. Thoughts?

This sounds very promising! However, it only works properly on real hardware for me - for some reason it stutters terribly in stella and z26 (under linux)? Also, is this aimed for a particular minigame multicart?

On my Windows box(es) it runs fine in z26, though if does stutter occasionally. I had some wierd things happen in Stella, so I stopped using it for this binary.

It really isn't doing anything fancy; it just updates the sound registers, maximum, once per frame.

Also, is this aimed for a particular minigame multicart? :x

Mmmm...maybe.

Yeah, if I get it finished and the other authors like it. :)

Sounds good to me so far... This is just the kind of thing I was thinking when I wanted title screen music...

I could seriously listen to this for hours :| . Nice job!

Thanks. :|

I think the version of this that ended up as the title track to the 2005 Minigame Multicart is even better! ;)
