Well, the two games I got for the game.com don't seem to be any good. Sure, they work OK, but I don't like playing them. I died at the first screen of Resident Evil 2. How are you even supposed to get past that first zombie thing if he comes after you and walks at the SAME SPEED as you?! Also, you seem to be gunless, so that doesn't really help, either! Then I tried Duke Nukem. I shot all the zombies but then I was at a loss of what to do next. I seemed stuck in a box or something. I tried entering the cinema, but that didn't work. So I guess my favorite game is Lights Out. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the two games I'll be getting in the mail soon. I bought Williams Arcade Hits off eBay (yes, I know. I had to.) and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. I'm looking for boxed ones, and since there were only 17 games released for the system (18 if you count Lights Out, 19 if you count the built in Solitaire), I hope to have a good collection in a few years' time. But we'll see. After all, I only have had the thing for a day now. I am just wondering, has anyone ever made fake box art for Lights Out since it didn't come with a box? That'd be a cool project to do if I knew Photoshop better. All I use Photoshop for now is to make background of pictures transparent and to color my comics. I got to see what games the Arcade collection had, and I like Defender (at least on the 2600) and Robotron (at least on the N64). I'm also selling my Game Gear games to raise money to buy game.com games. I figure since I can't see the stupid things because my Game Gear's screen I have is so screwy, why bother keeping them? I am keeping a few to play if I ever get another one, but for now, eh.

You should start out with a gun in Resident Evil. You need to go to your equipment screen and equip it, much like the regular games in the series.

In Duke Nukem, there should be a door at the end of the first room. Make sure you are pressing the open-door/activate button on it. If it doesn't work, an enemy may have dropped a key. Try searching the entire room again (I don't remember if keys were in this game--it's been about ten years since I last played it--but it's worth a try).

Thanks for the tips. Keys are in this game because I was reading up on cheats and there's a have every key cheat. The power went out for about 5 hours, just now came back on. I spent some time playing my Game Gear. I tried to make my Lynx work with batteries but it didn't want to. I also played Solitaire on my game.com. After about a half-hour of playing it, I finally know what happens when you win. It says in an info box "YOU WIN." That's it?! That's really lame. Also, a solitaire game should realize you have nothing to do except put cards on top of aces and do it for you. And it was hard to see the game.com in the dark, I had to hold it real close to the light to see it, and even then I sometimes couldn't differentiate between gray (red) and black. At least with my Game Gear if I tilt it I can see it in total darkness.

Yeah, the Game.Com, like the original Game Boy platforms, wasn't really designed to be played in that sort of situation. :D

However, there is a backlit version of the Game.Com PocketPro. They are fairly difficult to come by these days though (the non-backlit version of the PocketPro is generally what you find in the wild).
