Hello, today's blog is a historic day in the history of Portland, Oregon. You see, Soccer City USA has got its own Major League Soccer team. Said soccer team is playing its first ever game against the Colorado team in a few hours in Colorado. I don't follow soccer, but I have heard Colorado won the MLS championship last year. What a first game team, huh? The Portland Timbers it's called. It got its name from the minor league soccer team. They had to get rid of the Portland Beavers minor league baseball team, so now Portland has no baseball team, so they renovated PGE Park (the baseball field) into a soccer stadium and renamed it Jeld-Wen Field. Well, anyway, hope the first game goes well. I'll be watching it on FOX Soccer Channel.

OK, the Timbers suck. It's 2-0 less than 30 minutes in. I thought they'd suck, but THIS badly?! I could beat the Timbers by myself. That would be cool. I want to beat the Timbers. I bet I could, too! Imagine a fat, out-of-shape guy all by himself surrounded with 11 players and WINNING. That I could do. Barf.
